What is Lymphedema?
Lymphedema is swelling from too much fluid in your arms, legs, and, sometimes, other parts of the body. Certain surgeries, cancer treatments, and injury to your lymph nodes can cause lymphedema. Or you may be born with an abnormal lymphatic system that puts you at risk for developing lymphedema.
How Therapy Can Help
Trust our certified lymphedema therapist to provide excellent lymphedema therapy to ease your condition. You can’t repair lymph system damage, but you can manage your lymphedema symptoms.
At your first appointment, expect your therapist to assess your condition and therapy needs. You’ll also learn about self-care methods. Your therapy will take place at the Caldwell UNC Quest4Life Wellness Center.
