The Caldwell Memorial Hospital (CMH) Auxiliary, Inc. was established in 1974 to render financial and volunteer services to Caldwell Memorial Hospital and its patients through various ways.
The CMH Auxiliary enrolls more than 150 volunteers ranging in age from 14 - 95 years who work in almost every department. The gift shop, emergency department, information desks, mailroom, ICU waiting room, laboratory, and various other departments and special projects make use of regularly scheduled volunteers working three-hour shifts. Many hospital-owned practices have a growing need for volunteers.
In the past 25 years, volunteers have given over 375,000 working hours and over one million dollars of contributions.
The hospital needs all types of volunteers, especially those with clerical and customer service skills.
Love Light Tree
The Love Light Tree will once again adorn the top of Caldwell Memorial Hospital, filled with memories and remembrances for many people in Caldwell County. Love Lights represents people who are being honored or remembered at a cost of $5 each for lights in the body of the tree or $25 each for lights in the star on top of the tree.
For more information or to reserve a light, please contact Alice Whisnant, Director of Volunteer Services for Caldwell at 757-5123.
The Love Light Tree is an annual project used to fund hospital-related projects sponsored by the Caldwell Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
