Warning Signs of Workout Overload

With exercise, there can be too much of a good thing. If you’re overly tired, have sore muscles, don’t sleep well, and keep getting colds, you may be overdoing it. See your doctor to rule out other causes. If none are found, your doctor may advise you to switch to a lighter workout—or no workout—for a few weeks. Eat well, get plenty of rest, and try massages or whirlpool baths. When you’re better, consider joining Quest4Life Wellness Center for a personal fitness assessment from a certified instructor.
