Cancer Care Collaboration
Caldwell Memorial Hospital (CMH) is collaborating with the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center to enrich our cancer care services. Together, we bring a full range of treatment options home to Caldwell County, including:
- radiation oncology
- medical oncology
- advanced surgical techniques and procedures
- access to national clinical trials.
In 2003, CMH was designated an Approved Community Hospital Cancer Program by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. Of all the hospitals that treat cancer, only 25% qualify for this designation.
The Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center has been recognized by the National Cancer Institute as a leader in cancer care since 1972.
