Caldwell Memorial enrolls more than 150 volunteers ranging in age from 14 - 95 years who work in almost every department. The gift shop, emergency department, information desk, mailroom, ICU waiting room, laboratory and cafeteria make use of regularly scheduled volunteers working three-hour shifts. Many hospital-owned practices have a growing need for volunteers. In the past 25 years, volunteers have given over 375,000 working hours and over one million dollars of contributions. The hospital needs all types of volunteers, especially those with clerical skills.
